Why is csrss.exe causing hard drive thrashing in Vista? I think I may
have had this in XP, too, but it is very noticable on this quiet Vista
Laptop. I pinpoint it by checking Task Manager. It happens
intermittantly - sometimes lasting for hours. I have used online virus
scanners and I run updated Zone Alarm, AVG Free and Webroot SpySweeper.

The file is a win system file, however it is often associated with
Trojans/keyloggers
