Why is csrss.exe causing hard drive thrashing in Vista? I think I may have had this in XP, too, but it is very noticable on this quiet Vista Laptop. I pinpoint it by checking Task Manager. It happens intermittantly - sometimes lasting for hours. I have used online virus scanners and I run updated Zone Alarm, AVG Free and Webroot SpySweeper. -- foxy Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |

The file is a win system file, however it is often associated with Trojans/keyloggers "foxy" <foxy.398gg5@no-mx.forums.vistaheads.com> wrote in message news:foxy.398gg5@no-mx.forums.vistaheads.com... > > Why is csrss.exe causing hard drive thrashing in Vista?
