Try using the following apps to convert QuickTime .mov files to a format that can be used in Movie Maker. QuickTime 7 Pro http://www.apple.com/quicktime/pro/ (this would be the retail version not the free one) SUPER Simplified Universal Player Encoder & Renderer http://www.videohelp.com/tools/SUPER_1 (the mirror download site is faster) Convert .mov using TMPGEnc and the TMPGEnc Mov Plugin http://tinyurl.com/r9ssf More info: Movie Maker 2 - Converting MOV Files http://tinyurl.com/rmhu6 Free online converter: MediaConvert http://media-convert.com/ -- John Inzer Digital Media MVP Notice This is not tech support I am a volunteer Solutions that work for me may not work for you Proceed at your own risk |
