Hi. My Vista OS was preinstalled on my laptop. I made the mistake of not making an initial copy of the OS on CDs, but I'm told I can reinstall a default copy from a hidden partition. How do I actually do this? What's it called? Thanks. |

You *may* be able to do this. It depends on your vendor and how they configured your computer. In other words, this is not a Windows Vista feature, but one supplied by some vendors. Contact your vendor (or your manual, if you have one) for more information. -- Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP - Windows Desktop Experience Please Reply to the Newsgroup |
