HELP! Running Windows XP Professional. Yesterday I shutdown my computer same as always. Turned back on a little later and most of the icons in the control panel are missing (Add/Remoive Programs, Add Software, Display etc). Did a system restore to the day prior and still missing the icons. Can't figure out what happened or how to get them back. Any help? |

Try microsoft.public.windowsxp.general This group is for 64bit issues in all Windows 64bit editions. You may get the answer here but it is not inherently an XP newsgroup as you can see from its title.
