I've been running Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit for over about a year and then within the last week or two I noticed that the disk access light was active all the time. After a few hours of investigation I discovered I could get it to shut off by shutting down the Superfetch service. I know that the Superfect service is supposed to run while the system is idle, but is it supposed to run for days on end? |
