I was working in Vista Windows Explorer when I accidently dragged and dropped a folder. I have no idea which folder it was or to which folder it went into. Is there a log to find out what got moved? Is there a way of making Vista ask the question “Are you sure you want to move these files” before it does it? |

Ctrl-Z would have undone the move, if you had immediately done it. -- Vista Home Premium 32 SP1 http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview "Madock" <Madock@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:D25E4760-0633-4E6D-B9A4-6E9FB0A237AF@microsoft.com... > I was working in Vista Windows Explorer when I accidently dragged and > dropped > a folder. Hi, Madock. Too late to help this time, but in the future, hold down the right mouse button as you drag. When you release it, there will be a small context window from which you can choose between Copy here and Move here. Not exactly your problem, I know, but it allows a moment's reflection, just as an "Are you Sure?" box might do. RC -- R. C.
