I don't know what happened but all of my appointemts are gone. Every
appointment I made or created have vanished. So I click on todays date
(05/05/08) to create an appointment as a last resort since I rebooted and
tried other means to look for my appointments or tasks as well as closing it
and then opening it up again hoping that it was some minor glitch of some
sort and the Windows Calendar just simply tells me that I cannot make an
appointment on a disabled calendar. What?! Could somone please help me? I
didn't do anything to cause this confusion which is leaving me nothing but
confused. Help ... please. :( I really don't want to go in there and start
allll over again ... :<, , ,

On the left side (Navigation pane), where your calendar is listed, put a
checkmark in front of it.
If you don't see the navigation pane, click on View - Navigation pane
