Messenger Group, developed with Windows Live Messenger platform, is a
service for a group of Messenger users chatting together in real time. Maybe
you think that Windows Live Messenger supports multi-conversation, but this
multi-conversation is temporary, will be dismissed with the finish of
conversation.

Compared with multi-conversation, Messenger Group is an existing group with
each member in, members can talk together at any time without creating a
temporary multi-conversation. Messenger Group makes a group of people
connecting closer, no matter whether they are on your Messenger contact
list. You can create a group for a team, a department or a company to chat
online together.

Now if you have a Windows Live ID, then go to Messenger Group website
(http://www.messengergroupchat.com) to create your own Messenger Group.

Free to create Messenger Groups
Each Messenger Group can have 900 members at most
Group manager can change group name and display picture
Group manager can set an administrator to help manage group
Group member can change their nickname in the group

That would be ideal for someone like Alias and
his buddies. Instead of wasting time posting here,
they could chat back and forth instantly and not
have to wait long at all for the next insult to appear.

I see you conveniently did not mention FRANK who is the biggest insulter
ever in this newsgroup,
but you didn't mention him because he so happens to support vista...

reminds me of my post the other day here:

"I see the MVP's attack us vista bashers that simply tell the truth, while
at
the same time,
they are silent about Frank.

Does this mean they approve of him? And if so, do they think like them?

Does an idiot who supports vista deserve acceptance,
while vista bashers who provide information to this newsgroup about how bad
vista is
deserve only name calling and rejection?

I want an answer from the MVP's. Their silence only means they are Franks
buddies,
in other worlds you can behave like an ars, call people names, create noise
and do everything a big fat troll does,
but the MVPs don't care as long as he praises Vishhhttttaaa. "

It seems that you have lots of time on your hands to post crap. Maybe you
should push the button next to your bed and summons the nurse to your room.
Make sure she brings lots of pills so you can sleep.

That's nothing new that you could not do since the early 90's on IRC. If
anybody wants to know my #channels, just ask.

lol.. that's exactly what came across my mind when I saw this...

But you have to understand that new users (and that means the majority of
users alive today)
have not used IRC. Also its more user friendly. Also it's a good way for MS
to push their messenger.. (stab) lol

I think there was something like this on ICQ too... Live messenger has still
to catch up with all the features that chat client had in 2000! lol

Despite all its bugs the number one improvement of Windows Live over MSN
that I had previously is that Windows Live apps function without Messenger
loaded or even configured. 'Nuff said about Messenger. Hey, wanna chat
later?

This thing looks like a third party addon. As it is not an official MS
thing, I doubt it will get very popular anyway. Look at the footer on the
webpage.

I tried ICQ a decade ago, but it was just full of spammers, weirdoes and
lamers. Oh, and a lot of Russian women looking to get married. I suppose
they will not be in such a hurry to leave anymore.

Ah.. you are right, its not an MS product.. but its not a real add-on,
something you download and install.

You just add a contact on the live messenger contact list and this starts
the whole service
that includes a specific additional sidebar with contacts..

its pretty cool..

I tried it already

>Oh, and a lot of Russian women looking to get married.

that was some fake names that all led to dating services.. in other words
more spam.

Oh and I use Miranda IM. Much leaner. LEAN. A good way of thinking. I

Miranda IM is an open-source multi protocol instant messenger client
for Microsoft Windows. It's smaller, faster, easier!
