Operating on XP Home since its introduction I have had only minimal problems with the system but am now perplexed. I updated Windows Live Messenger just prior to experiencing this problem I am now unable to log in to MSN Explorer and when I try to connect get the following message. "MSN Messenger Service is not installed on this machine. It is a critical part of MSN Explorer and must be repaired before you can use MSN Explorer again." When I proceed to "Repair MSN Now" I get the MSN Explorer Error Reporting indicating "We're very sorry but MSN Explorer has experienced an internal error and will have to restart which launches me into a perpetual loop. Windows Messenger Live is working and logging in properly after the recent update although I had to "Run" the dll libraries for Windows Live in order to get it there. I am not sure where to look to solve the problem. Any help would be appreciated. |
