How to protect only individual cell and also want to hide formulas in excel

Hi Ashish:

Be sure to check the .public.excel discussion group.

Nevertheless, 1) select the Home tab, 2) then expand the Fonts group, 3)
select the Protection tab in the dialog window, ...
Also, make sure that you switch-on Protection in the Review tab...

I think, by default *all* cells are locked when Sheet Protection is on...
