I need my shortcuts - my thinking is slightly disorganized and they keep me
from having to hunt for too much. However, I don't like the desktop clutter.
Is there a way to move the lesser used shortcuts into one folder on my
desktop?

Create a new folder on your desktop.
Highlight the shortcuts you want moved using the CNTL button to highlight
all of them together.
Right click and drag them into the new folder-->Move here.

Voil! :-)
