Hope this is an appropriate ng. If not, suggestions please. I have a winXP box on a LAN. WAN proxy is on a different subnet. Out of the blue, it regularly pops up a dialog requesting proxy credentials when logged on to LAN. (Currently the user is conducting experiment for me when logged on to local machine only. I expect it to pop up here too.) I figure something is trying to phone home. AV scan is clear. I don't know which proxy it is asking about. I have used procmon and tcpview and neither shows anything remarkable. Any hints on finding the culprit. TIA -- Len ______________________________________________________ |
