hello I upgraded from xp to Vista home premium, and I have had ongoing video error crashes. I keep getting the same answer from Microsoft..to check with driver maker or laptop manufacturer. So the driver manufacturer says that they don't support this driver, to go to laptop maker. The laptop maker, Dell, does not have a newer driver and 2005, and the one installed by windows update is dated March 2007. So, am I stuck in a holding pattern, hoping that one of these companies would care to create a fix? or should I happily return my laptop back to windows XP I would appreciate any helpful solutions, thank you all |

Use the latest driver from Dell and/or ATI (which you said does not have a Vista-compatible driver). The Vista Home Premium upgrade was done with a Dell OEM version I hope. That may also be your problem if it is not the case. If not order a Dell OEM version directly from them if it is available. |
