Alas, it seems nobody knows what "Winternals" is/was. Most posts in this newsgroup so far have *nothing* to do with the topic at hand. |

Agreed, maybe it's a case of name confusion: http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/press/2006/jul06/07-18WinternalsPR.mspx JS "Homer J. I've posted relevantly twice here and gotten nothing useful in return. It seems even Microsoft and its MVPs don't pay attention to this group. "Homer J. Mark was the one who replied to my emails before the takeover, these tools have a lot of power if you know how to really use them and it's going to take a while for someone to become proficient enough to earn an MVP status here. I've been using these tools for about 10 years (regmon95) and I still learn something new every time I read Mark's blog. JS "John J. I'll try and see if I can make a more useful reply. > > "Homer J. Ok, I took a look at your questions, and one is on clustering that I really can't help with, not having access to a MS cluster. The other is on some user interface quirk, and all I can say is to use RegMon and find out what registry entry stores the list, then delete it so you're back to defaults without having to downgrade. For actual bugfixes MVPs are not so powerful. However, I can bother Microsoft about it if its a big deal. Have you posted a bug report on Microsoft Connect yet? Ahh, I don't see a good category on Connect for sysinternals bugs. I'll mention that to MS. > > "Homer J. In the meantime, everyone can vote up this bug against the Connect system, asking for a section on sysInternals: https://connect.microsoft.com/Connect/feedback/ViewFeedback.aspx?FeedbackID=278776 > >> >> "Homer J.
