I have a computer with windows xp damaged.

I booted using the Winternals CD (Windows XP PE) and I can see all the files
there, but I dont know how to use a pendrive or ethernet connection to
extract some of the data.

Can anybody help me?

Ty!

I'm not familiar with the Winternals CD, or what USB drivers it can use (if
any) or what sort of connections it makes available...so IMO...the easiest
way to get to your files...just put the hard drive as a slave in another
machine, and copy/move all the files you need to any location accessible to
that machine.

IMO, under those sort of circumstances, there's little point in trying to
use some fancy bootable CD when the classic solution is so much simpler.

If the drive is flaky, you might want to try SpinRite from GRC.com. It may
be able to repair your files so they are readable.

Oleg,

I don't think the Russian site will help author solve the problem.
Because I don't even sure Juanma can read in Russian -- if only in
Spain.

If Windows PE can read the files, it's a software problem, the hardware is
ok. SpinRite is meant for hardware problems.
